Eat it!

 On Christmas Day we gave Silas some banana! I really wanted to try Baby-led Weaning so we just gave him a few cut strips of banana for him to play with and hopefully put in his mouth.  I thought that part would be easy since he puts everything in his mouth! He was able to get some in his hand but couldn't quite get it to his mouth, we helped a little but he did not care for it! We mushed some up and tried with a spoon and the reaction was the same.  It wasn't the typical "hmmm this is different" look, it was more like "what is this disgusting thing you put in my mouth?!" So we decided we'd try again another day- no big deal.
