And the countdown begins...
There was no change in my cervix again- uugghh what the hell is wrong with my cervix!! All of the tests on the baby look fine though, so we are scheduled to go in Thursday night. I still have a little hope that I may actually go into labor on my own, but if not oh well. So Thursday at 5pm I have orders to call L&D and they will tell me what time to come in, I'll get my cervidil and then be on the monitor for 2 hours. Then they want me to try and sleep. The midwife suggested I take a sleeping pill, but I was kind of looking forward to staying up late and watching cable tv!! We don't have cable so Mike and I are thinking of this like a little vacation- no Rowan, cable tv, meals delivered... oh I guess the pain of being in labor and giving birth will probably remind me that I am not going to a hotel!

Yeah, not a vacation but way to find the positives. I emailed you my info, so I could get the first pic.
Throw a massage and a box of chocolate in there, and it's like a spa weekend! :)
I had to be induced with PG, and we did the cervidil overnight thing. Once the contractions started, they gave me some Stadol in my IV. That was awesome. Totally trumps the pain of labor. Made me want to walk the streets to become a Stadol junkie. :)

quigs- a massage sounds great, they should offer that at hospitals. chocolate sounds great- i don't even remember the last time I had some good chocolate, like a real piece not just a tiny bite!
I've been catching up on your blog every day, Rachel, and sounds like baby time is just about here! I am thinking about you and will be pulling for you when you go in. I imagine Mike is pretty excited and anxious for the big day. You sure look BIG!!! I wonder jhow much the little guy is weighing? We shall see soon...grndma Joan Hi Rowan, baby brother is almost here!
