I Can't Do This Anymore!

A 3 year olds poop belongs in a toilet, not a diaper. Now that I am once again changing newborn diapers, I can really see the difference- and it is not pretty! We are getting nowhere with potty training, he could sit on the toilet for hours only to pee minutes later on the floor. I am getting frustrated and tired of changing diapers!!

Ok I feel a little better, thanks for letting me vent :) ANy helpful ideas or tips from parents with potty trained children?

Sorry I don't really have any advice about potty training. All I can say is Rowan will go potty when HE is ready. If you try and force it, it could backfire big-time!

Happy 1 month to baby Eli!

I know. Big Kid poops are so gross. Unfortunately, I second what Mommy Schiff said...Rowan holds all the cards in this one. The best thing you can do is be loving and encouraging..eventually he will get to a place mentally where it all makes sense and of course "I'd rather poop in the potty, mom! Hang in there.

I know, I know- I just REALLY wish he was ready already! I'm starting to have him pretty much change his diaper (not poop) and put a new one on- I just help fix the tabs. I'm hoping that the more I make him do the more he'll get tired of diapers! But maybe he won't care. He already complains that the wipes are cold, and we talk about how nice and soft and warm tp is!! :)

The only that has worked with Colin is letting him run around with no underwear on and letting him go outside. I know that it will backfire on me and sooner or later he is going to whip his pants down at the park. So far it has been helping because he doesn't have to try and pull down his pants.
